Urban Tree Stools showcase the natural beauty of exotic and native woods from salvaged trees. Hundreds of trees removed from our public streets, parks, and private properties each year end up as landscape mulch, firewood, or waste in the landfill. Through a partnership with the City of San Diego’s Urban Forestry Program, fallen trees are carefully selected, then handcrafted to create a beautiful and unique piece of furniture that includes a wonderful story about the wood’s previous life.
These pieces are from a Eucalyptus in the College Park neighborhood that blew over during the winter storms of 1994. They function beautifully as a small table, a stool, or unique display stand.
